Abstract

The search for efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable renewable energy sources has accelerated due to the increasing demand for cleaner energy. Among the various types of solar technologies, perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have gained significant attention for their outstanding power conversion efficiencies and potential for low-cost production. This paper provides an overview of the advancements in perovskite solar cell technology, particularly focusing on improvements in materials, fabrication techniques, stability, and scalability. Additionally, we discuss the challenges faced by PSCs, including long-term stability, toxicity concerns, and the need for large-scale manufacturing. By analyzing the latest research, this paper highlights how perovskite solar cells present a sustainable solution for the future of solar energy harvesting.
