Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic drastically transformed global education systems, pushing educational institutions to shift from traditional in-person learning to remote and online platforms. This paper examines the effectiveness of remote learning and its impact on educational equity, particularly in a post-pandemic context. By analyzing the challenges faced by students, educators, and communities, this study assesses the extent to which remote learning contributed to or hindered educational equity, focusing on access to technology, quality of education, and social-emotional outcomes. Key findings suggest that while remote learning provided flexibility, it also exacerbated existing educational disparities, with underprivileged students facing significant barriers. Recommendations for improving remote education and promoting equitable outcomes in the future are discussed.
