This research paper explores the relationship between socioeconomic status (SES) and educational achievement, focusing on how various dimensions of SES, including family income, parental education levels, and occupational status, influence academic outcomes for students. This study utilizes existing literature to analyze the mechanisms through which SES affects students' educational performance and explores interventions that could mitigate the disparities caused by low SES. The review suggests that while socioeconomic factors strongly correlate with academic success, a combination of individual, familial, and policy-level interventions can significantly narrow the achievement gap.
